Are these original artworks or reproductions?

All prints sold here are fine-art house-stamped photographic prints produced from George Tatakis’ original photographs. They are not mass reproductions or stock images, but carefully crafted artworks intended for long-term collection.

How do open editions differ from limited editions?

Open editions are archival fine-art prints with no edition limit. Limited editions are produced in limited numbers, signed, and numbered by George Tatakis. Collectors can acquire limited artworks through Artion Galleries (Geneva).

Are the prints museum quality?

Yes. All prints are produced using archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle fine-art papers, ensuring exceptional tonal depth and longevity exceeding 100 years under proper display conditions.

Are the prints signed by the artist?

Limited edition prints are signed and numbered by George Tatakis. Open edition prints can also be optionally signed by the artist.

Can I order prints framed and ready to hang?

Yes. Selected works can be ordered framed in solid wood frames with museum-grade UV-filter glass. Framed artworks arrive professionally assembled and ready to hang. These are only available in the dedicated shop by George Tatakis, here.

How long does it take to prepare and ship an order?

Each artwork is prepared individually. Orders are typically processed within a few business days. In cases where production requires additional time, you will be informed before shipping. Limited edition artworks require more time in manufacturing, up to 30 business days.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Prints and products are shipped worldwide from Greece, with careful packaging designed to protect fine-art works during transit.

How are artworks packaged for shipping?

Unframed prints are shipped flat or rolled using archival materials. Framed works are securely packed in wooden crates to museum standards to ensure safe delivery.

Will I have to pay customs duties or taxes?

Customs duties and import taxes may apply outside the EU, depending on your country. These charges are determined by local authorities and are the responsibility of the buyer.

What if a print arrives damaged?

If an artwork arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photographs of the package and the item. Each case is handled individually to ensure a fair resolution.

Can I return or exchange a print?

Because each artwork is produced specifically for your order, returns are accepted only in cases of damage or error. Please refer to the Return Policy for full details.
